I wanted a corset that could be used as a bodyshaping undergarment or as a visible piece of an outfit. Due to this I went with a simple design and light structure with minimal amount of texture and portruding parts. For materials I chose satin fabric and lace to achieve lingerie-like look. The colors are solid for easier outfit matching.

 For the most part I'm very pleased with the outcome. I patterned it myself and the fit is good. I should have chosen a sturdier fabric for the lining though. The outer layer's satin is so soft, that it wrinkles easily. Any hard details like buttons underneath the corset also show through.
